Reading complaints about the Freemining club as they are scamming the crypto community, this post will investigate this Bit coin mining scam.
There are many cloud / browser based mining platforms that are legitimate such as CryptoTab, however there are many that are simply very high end scams.
Freemining club is one of them.
If you have ever been in a scam before online it is a very depressing situation. You feel stupid, angry and of course out of pocket. If it hasn’t happened to you, you are very lucky. However, personally I believe if we look on the positive side of being in a scam. It makes you more weary the next time you look at some kind of investment online in the future. Let’s say that “if it looks too good to be true, it probably is”.
What is Freemining club all about?
Freemining wants us to believe they are a cryptocurrency miner platform. However, the likelihood they are a Bit coin ponzi scheme that may have paid out in the past, but not any more.
The Bit coin mining scam works like this…
- When you arrive at this site you add your Bitcoin address. (Innocent enough)
- Then you are to press a button to start mining.
- For free members you continue mining until you get to 0.005 BTC. At that point you can withdraw your earnings or can you.
- So you click on the “Withdraw” link, but are then asked to upgrade your account or pay the maintenance fees of 0.001 BTC.
- Once you have either upgraded your account or paid the maintenance fees your payment is pending…. forever.
The fees to upgrade and to get nothing is between 0.005-2.5 BTC which in dollars or euros are about 210-104930$ / 195-96745€. I don’t know how many people pay 2.5 BTC without trying to receive a smaller amount of money first. For those who have just jumped straight in or even taken a load it must be a killer of a reality check.
Why are people so easily scammed on this crypto miner?
Of course we are human and we love a deal that gives us a passive income from a simple crypto mining biz. Also, greed has a big part to play and trust that someone would not have the nerve to scam someone openly.
Regardless of the human element, if you are looking at their webpage for the first time everything looks fine. This is a good looking site, the pay-out section that shows payments made by the Freemining club and the competition for sharing your affiliate link seems logical. Also, it even asks affiliates to send them a screenshot of where they have shared their link as a part of the competition.
It all looks very good.
The main issue is that everything at a glance looks legitimate from the affiliate program to the support, but when you look a bit closer.
Evidence why freemining club is the top Bit coin mining scam
The fact that they don’t pay is a massive sign, but that is easy to say after the fact.
However, one tell tell sign is that you can mine 0.00072000 BTC a day with a free membership. If you know anything about Bit coin mining you know that is too much.
Other issue to look out for on Freemining is:
- The telephone number is not real.
- Even though the email address admin@freemining.club is real, no one will replay. However the other email address is fake (support@freemining.website)
- The location address is real Edgware Rd, London, United Kingdom, NW9 0HS however it is the same address as two other similar Bit coin mining scam websites (capitalmining and bitboost live). In addition, the address is in the middle of the street in the center of London.
- The “Get in Touch” form also doesn’t reply to anybody’s emails.
After checking the page’s script for the miner, it does not seem to be a miner, but just a “counter script”. - The weekly competition names haven’t changed, so the lucky bastards are winning one bitcoin every week. (The address seems to be real, but they may not even be an affiliate with Freemining)

What are the other websites associated with the Freemining club?
From my research Freemining is probably the same company as the ones below. The reason why I believe these webpages are the same is because their addresses are the same as well as the design and the use of scripts on these sites.
- capitalmining.io – This site is so similar to Freemining I wonder why they haven’t been shut down years ago.
- bitboost.live – That asks us to Start Mining Bitcoin Today because we are making mining accessible to everyone. We have the highest performing systems with the best mining algorithm.
All these sites are under the same Registrar called NameCheap, Inc. and in fact the same servers at Cloud flare at cloudflare.com.
Final words about this Bit coin mining scam
Yes, I can see the attraction of wanting to know how to mine Bitcoin from home on your PC. I think it is a dream for all of use, but some time the expression, “Buyer beware!” comes to mine. So, do your due diligence and do some research before investing any money with a new platform.
It’s surprising that all of these scam Bitcoin mining platforms have not been shut down. I am guessing that every time one of these is close another similar one opens the next day. Nevertheless, unless someone can tell me different with proof that they have been paid on these platforms I can only say that the Freemining club is a massive scam and should be avoided at all cost.
